At VES we endeavour to provide a high rate of pay to our candidates and fully comply with the Agency Worker Regulations (2010) to guarantee you are being treated fairly.
What are the AWR?
The Agency Workers Regulations give agency workers the entitlement to the same or no less favourable treatment as comparable employees with respect to basic employment and working conditions, if and when they complete a qualifying period of 12 weeks in a particular job.

Your CPD is important to us
Upskilling candidates for the future
We understand that you do not always have the same training opportunities when you are working on a supply basis, and how important CPD is for your career. Therefore we regularly provide training courses for our candidates so you can make sure your skills are relevant and up to date for the classroom.
Safeguarding Training
All VES’s supply staff are required to complete our accredited Safeguarding training prior to being placed in schools (this is done as part of the registration process and is fully funded).
Newly Qualified Teachers
We are in regular contact with NQT’s during the course final year of studying and support them in their transition from student life to their first teaching placement.
